I graduated from Applachian State University in 1969 with a major in History. My first teaching job was at Wade Hampton High School from 1969 to 1973. and macro economics part time at Spartanburg Community College, painted houses, and did long and short temm substitute teacing.
I married a physical science teacher in 1970. We retired together in 1999. We have three children. We live on our farm between Pacolet and Cowpens. Life has really been good.
